Terms of Service

These terms govern use of Placement Club (placementclub.in), operated by Blackbox Infotech (“we”, “us”). By accessing the site or signing in, you agree to these terms. If you use Placement Club for a college, you also confirm you are authorised to do so.

Placement Club is software for campus placement operations: verified student profiles, assessments and practice, drives and eligibility, and related analytics. Features available to you depend on your college’s subscription and the role they assign.

There is no public self-enrolment. Signing in with email or Google does not create a campus seat. A college administrator must invite or import your email.

You must provide accurate sign-in details and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us or your campus administrator if you believe access has been misused.

We may suspend or end access that is unauthorised, abusive, or that puts other campuses or the service at risk. Uninvited sign-ins may be signed out automatically.

The college is responsible for the lawfulness of the student and staff data it uploads, for who it invites, and for how its staff use placement, exam, and proctoring features. Eligibility rules and academic fields are college-owned. We are not the college’s placement cell and do not make offer decisions.

You may not:

• Attempt to access another campus’s data or bypass role restrictions.
• Interfere with exams, integrity controls, or scoring.
• Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
• Probe, overload, or reverse engineer the service except as allowed by law.
• Use the service to send spam or to process data unrelated to campus placement.

Exam and practice submissions may be stored, scored, and reviewed by authorised campus staff. Code you submit may be executed in an isolated judging environment. Hidden test cases are not shown to students. Integrity tooling is evidence for the college; it does not by itself change academic policy.

Blackbox Infotech and its licensors own Placement Club, including the software, design, and marks. Colleges and users retain rights in the content they submit, and grant us a licence to host and process it solely to provide the service.

We aim for a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Exams and drives depend on your network, the college’s configuration, and third-party infrastructure. We may change or discontinue features with notice where practical.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Placement Club is provided “as is”. We are not liable for placement outcomes, college decisions, or exam results. Our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the fees the relevant college paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or INR 10,000 if no such fees apply to you.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any non-waivable consumer protections that apply to you.

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service and ask your college to close your access.
